The other night while getting my daughter, who's 5, ready for bed, the following conversation took place...
"Daddy. When I get older will I have muscles like you?"
Me: "Why do you ask sweetie? And please don't splatter so much while brushing your teeth."
Her: "Okay. But I was wondering because I saw you flesking (her word for flexing) your muscles in front of the
mirror and I was wondering if I would ever have muscles like that."
Me: "Well, do you want muscles like me?"
Her: "No! I do not like your muscles."
Me: "Why not? Daddy works hard for his muscles."
Her: "Because your muscles are hairy and the hair is weird."
Me: "Well, do you want muscles like mommy?" (This was also my way of deflecting the fact that she saw me flexing
in front of the mirror...which you didn't hear either)
Her: "Yes! I like mommy's muscles."
Me: "Well, you watch her do the workouts daddy makes for her from home don't you?"
Her: "Yes. I like it when she goes 'grrr' and jumps around."
Gotta love a 5-year old! The conversation actually continued and I think we set a record for longest
teeth-brushing time, which was also a stalling tactic because no child willingly goes to bed when she could be
My whole reason for sharing this little conversation with you is that I'm going to share a quick 10-minute
weight loss workout with you that's designed just for folks like you and me - busy parents.
I'll go ahead and share that video with you now and we'll chat more on the flip-side...
10-Minute Weight Loss workout Designed For Busy Parents
Pretty simple, right?
The cool thing about that workout, and pretty much every other workout I design, is that they can easily be done
from home and, if you so desire, your kids can get in on the action.
For instance, whenever my wife is at home doing one of the 10-minute weight loss workouts (she's trying to lose
the 'mommy weight' from our latest addition), our daughter routinely does any of the jumping exercises with her
(Jumping Jacks, Burpees, Jump Split Squats, etc.) and loves it.
She also tries to do push-ups, which aren't pretty, but at least she's trying :)
My point is that the 10-minute weight loss workout I shared with you is all about simplicity...
...But simplicity doesn't always mean easy and simplicity definitely doesn't mean ineffective.
If you do that workout, along with a few other 10-minute workouts and throw in a few Abs Workouts to do for a
few minutes after, you'll see tremendous results.
You'll lose fat.
You'll lose inches off your stomach.
You'll get stronger.
Your energy levels will shoot through the roof!
You'll become more flexible and be able to move better while also improving your

nutrition plan, one that again works with your busy lifestyle rather than trying to force you into doing something
that won't work, you'll see all those results very, very quickly.

to make things difficult. Read that again - it’s easy to make
things difficult. Weight loss should be simple, but often times it’s not because you allow
your brain to get muddy.
